Freeman Metal Products Freeman Metal Products, Inc is located about sixty miles west of the Atlantic Ocean and twenty miles south of the Virginia border in rural eastern North Carolina, in the small town of Ahoskie. The company was founded in 1973 by Morris Freeman and Tom Fretwell, since then Freeman Metal has grown from a small fabrication plant specializing in primed shells to a recognized leader in the casket industry. By the 1980’s the customer base had expanded from Maine to Florida and as far as West Texas. In 1985 a subsidiary plant, F&F Metals, was established in Greenville, Texas in order to relieve delivery schedules and afford customers better service. Teaming up with Southern Heritage in 1999, acquiring Art Caskets in 2001, and most recently branching into composite technology with the Durolon line only serves to demonstrate Freeman’s willingness to expand to meet customer needs. Using a careful blend of time proven techniques and new innovative ideas, Freeman Metal is able to build quality products to customer specification. Giving the customer what the customer wants within an unprecedented time schedule is the key to Freeman’s growth and success. Telephone: 252 332 5390 |
